At International Charter School of Arizona our mission is to provide challenging academic programs that will develop students to their fullest potential and prepare them to succeed on a local and global level. We are a new college preparatory, tuition-free charter school opening in Scottsdale, Arizona that is molded after European education systems.
We provide a global education through an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and accelerated foreign language classes. ICSA will serve the needs of students in grades 5 through 8 starting in August, 2012 for the 2012-2013 school year.
ICSA’s education is focused on:
- Fostering internationally-minded students through greater understanding and acceptance of other people and cultures
- Developing tri-lingual proficiency as a means to cultivating greater opportunities for global interactions
- Cultivating knowledge, inquiry, and empathy in young people
- Empowering critical thinkers to be prepared for college and beyond
